KICKING OFF THE PLATINUM RESURRECTION with great style and Greg "Action" Zinman, this time on a cover of "The Voice," the awesome 1981 Moody Blues hit; as a bonus, you also get the flipside, the late-night head-nodder of "The Voice (version)."

"Something Nice About People," the antipode to the hatin' "Retarty."
A new song: "Retarty," which has some potty mouth in it, so be warned.

"Till It Shines" by Bob Seger (Tom Colligan, bass 'n' keys)
"Bubbles in My Beer" by Bob Wills (Josh Nelson, acoustic & electric guitars, banjo-uke)
"Behind My Baby's Bedroom Door" (by legendary "D-I-V-O-R-C-E" songwriter Curly Putman)
"Cath" by the Bluebells (by request; you can make requests, too!)

Also, the first new song in a long time ("Smoke Signals"), a track that has probably been rejected for the Dan Knudsen tribute album ("Rain Falls Outside My Window") because somebody else already picked it, and two outtakes from the Weatherhead/Sound of Music Sessions. So lots of stuff.

Spent Butane - An ongoing examination of previously unreleased outtakes and other rarities. Recent additions: Tons of stuff from the breakthrough album Thunderegg (1997), including early versions of "The Mighty Battlecat," "The American Standard Is Slipping (and It's All Your Fault)," and an odd Creedence cover.

Larry: Larry (1994) - mp3s of the 1994 cassette-only debut from Larry, the six-piece rock band that existed before Thunderegg. In addition to Will, Jake, and Keith, Larry featured Justin Weyerhaeuser (guitar), Tyler McGlashan (congas), and Jamie McElroy (keyboards).
