Your next chance to see some live full-band Egg coincides with a full-blast party celebrating the release of our new seven-inch, “Ten Sleeves”/”Big Cigarette,” Friday, March 27, at Viracocha in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District. The tunes were recorded 100 percent analog at Tiny Telephone studios by the amazing Alan Weatherhead, then mastered by Bob Weston, whose “2000 Shellac bass rig is well-documented.”
If that weren’t enough, supporting us will be Chuck and Cheryl of the great SF power-pop band the American Professionals, performing as a rare pas de deux.
We are terribly excited. The new recordings are awesome and we’re playing them awesomely. Advance tickets—some with special prices that include HQ digital downloads or the record itself—can be purchased here.
