“Summer Kids” video now up

Here’s Thunderegg’s video for “Summer Kids,” the first song off the sweet new album C’mon Thunder. The video, directed by our friend Dan Foldes, was featured in the Huffington Post this morning.

You can, and are strongly encouraged to, preorder C’mon Thunder here: you’ll get an instant download of “Summer Kids,” then a code for the remaining 13 tracks on May 13. Can’t wait that long? We have early copies of the gorgeous CD, designed by Brianne Lucke, and if you preorder one now, we have no problem with dropping it in the mail before the official release date. CDs will also be available at any of our shows in the next few weeks.

New Egg video premieres Monday, April 21

On Monday, April 21, we’ll be dropping the video for “Summer Kids,” the single from Thunderegg’s upcoming epic album C’mon Thunder (once again produced by Alan Weatherhead), which officially comes out May 13. But at our upcoming shows—including April 22 at the Elbo Room, April 23 at the Stork Club, April 25 at Hopmonk Novato, and, for the East Coasters, May 8 at Pete’s Candy Store—fans will be able to get prerelease copies of the CD, pictured above. It’s the lushest, and possibly best, Thunderegg ever. We are very excited. Big thank-yous to Dan Foldes for directing the video, Brianne Lucke for designing the CD, and Carolyn Marks Blackwood for her gorgeous cover photograph, “Storm 9.”
