Thunderegg on No Pigeonholes podcast

It seems to be Thunderegg’s lucky day as far as podcasts go. Today “If You Were Paper” is featured on Don Campau’s No Pigeonholes program, for many years one of the few American oases (oasises?) for truly, truly independent music. Like, stuff you just never hear anywhere else. Don’s been doing it since way before the tech revolution, both through KKUP in Cupertino, California, and his own Lonely Whistle Music distributors. Bookmark this page and drop in often.

Thunderegg on Shifted Sound

Two songs from This Week are featured on Shelby Miller’s excellent Shifted Sound podcast. This is a great place to find new music that’s always tuneful and under the radar. Shelby’s site is here and the itunes link to the podcast is here. Viva the true independents! And thanks, Shelby.

Back at Sound of Music in Richmond

Mixing the rest of the new Thunderegg album with Al Weatherhead. By Wednesday we’ll have twelve songs total. It’s sounding really good; Ken Moon arrived last night to add piano. Then we ate a lot of barbecue and the first bottle of bourbon is already gone.

Southcoasting reviews This Week

Jon Simmons of the Brighton blog Southcoasting weighs in on Thunderegg’s This Week CD. He likes it. He may like Open Book even more, but still. He’s on board.

All set

The This Week liner notes are back from the printer and the CDs are ready for the mail. Thanks for your patience.

Please let us know if there are any technical problems with the CDs, which I’m burning on my PC. If they skip, that would suck.
